S4000 is an airborne wind turbine system developed by Chinese start-up Sawes Energy Technology, designed to generate electricity at an altitude of 4,000 meters. This prototype, in the form of a helium-filled airship the size of a Boeing 747, successfully completed its full test in August 2026, marking a step toward its industrial deployment.
