Comcast is an American company specializing in telecommunications and media, founded in 1963. It is notably the largest cable operator and internet service provider in the United States, and owns major assets such as NBC Universal, Sky, and DreamWorks Animation. In July 2026, Comcast announces its intention to split into two separate entities, one dedicated to telecommunications networks and the other to media.
