WiFi Motion

WiFi Motion is a motion detection technology using radio waves, developed by Comcast for its Xfinity routers. It leverages Wi-Fi signal disruptions between a router and connected devices to detect movement in a home, without cameras or physical sensors. In August 2026, Comcast integrated it into its Xfinity Shield platform, offered free to eligible Xfinity Internet subscribers.
