Windows 10 is an operating system developed by Microsoft, part of the Windows NT family. It was officially unveiled on September 30, 2014, and released to the public on July 29, 2015. In August 2026, China ordered certain public entities to uninstall a government-customized version of Windows 10, initially scheduled for removal in February 2027, due to data security concerns.
